Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 September 2026  ·  Effective: 26 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Arryfy app (“Arryfy”, “the app”) and this website handle your information. It is provided in accordance with Apple’s App Store Review Guidelines, and a link to it appears both inside the app and in the App Store listing. Arryfy is private by design: it has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking SDKs, and no servers that receive your data. Everything you enter stays on your device.

Summary. Arryfy does not collect any data. The information you create is stored only on your device, is never transmitted to us or any third party, and is never sold or shared. This matches the app’s App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected.

1. Who we are

Arryfy is made and published by Jerry D’Souza, an individual developer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation, and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Developer is the data controller (data fiduciary) for this policy — though, as set out below, we hold no personal data about you.

There is no separate Data Protection Officer; privacy enquiries go to the address above and are answered by the Developer directly.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Arryfy mobile application and to this website at arryapp.com. By using Arryfy you agree to it. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. Because we collect nothing, most of this policy simply confirms what Arryfy does not do with your information.

3. What data we collect, and how

We collect no data. Arryfy works entirely offline and transmits nothing to us. We operate no servers that receive your information, and we run no analytics, so we have no ability to see, access, collect, or recover anything you enter.

The information you create in the app — described in Section 4 — is not “collected” by us in any sense: it is written directly to your device’s local storage by the app and stays there. It is never uploaded, and it is never sent to us or anyone else.

4. Information you create, stored only on your device

So Arryfy works the next time you open it, the app saves what you enter, on your device only. This includes:

This data is held in the operating system’s standard local app storage. It is not visible to us. iOS may include the private app container in a normal encrypted iCloud or Finder device backup when you enable those Apple services, as explained in Section 8.

5. How your information is used

The information you create is used for one purpose only — to provide the app’s features to you, on your device: showing your plan, tracking chapters and revision, calculating exam readiness and delivering the reminders you enable. It is never used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond running the app for you, and it is never processed on any server.

6. Legal basis for processing

Under the EU/UK GDPR, a controller needs a lawful basis to process personal data. We carry out no processing of your personal data, because none of it reaches us: what you enter is processed locally on your own device, by software running under your control, for your own purely personal purposes. Where any basis is nevertheless relevant to the app running on your device, it is the performance of this agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b)) — delivering the features you asked for — and, for the optional permissions in Section 7, your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time. We do not rely on legitimate interests to track, profile or market to you, because we do none of those things.

7. Permissions we request, and why

Arryfy requests only what a feature needs, and only when you choose to use it. Each permission is optional and is handled by your device’s operating system, not by us:

8. Automatic device backup

Arryfy automatically keeps your information in its private app storage on your iPhone. Apple may include this app container in encrypted iCloud or Finder device backups when you enable those services. Apple controls backup timing, storage and restoration. Arryfy does not receive your Apple ID or iCloud data, and this is not live cross-device sync.

9. App Tracking Transparency

Arryfy does not track you. It does not collect data to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and it contains no advertising or third-party analytics. Because there is no tracking, the app does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt.

10. Third parties and data sharing

Arryfy shares no user data with any third party — there is nothing to share, because we collect nothing. Specifically, the app contains no analytics tools, no advertising networks, and no third-party SDKs that receive your data, and no parent, subsidiary, or other related entity has access to your data. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Arryfy is distributed through the Apple App Store. When you download or use apps, Apple may collect certain information under Apple’s own Privacy Policy, which is outside our control and not governed by this policy. We do not receive personally identifying information from Apple about you.

11. This website

This website is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds nothing from a third party: the fonts, styles, images and scripts are all served from this site’s own domain, so loading a page here does not send your IP address or browsing activity to any other company. There are no forms, no sign-up and no tracking pixels — the only way to contact us is the email link, which opens your own mail app.

Like every website, these pages are delivered by a hosting provider, which automatically records standard server request logs — typically IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and browser user-agent — for the limited purposes of delivering the site, security and abuse prevention. We do not use those logs to identify you, do not combine them with anything else, do not use them for analytics or advertising, and do not access them in the ordinary course. This log-keeping is the hosting provider’s, carried out on our behalf as a processor, under our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).

12. Data retention and deletion

We retain none of your data, because we never receive it. Your data remains on your device for as long as you keep it there. You are always in control of removing it:

Because there are no accounts and no server-side data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf.

13. Revoking consent, and requesting deletion

You can withdraw any permission at any time: turn off Notifications or Face ID for Arryfy in your device’s system settings, or delete the app. To request deletion of your data, use Settings → Erase all data — this immediately and permanently removes it from your device. As we hold no copy of your data on any server, there is nothing further to request from us. Arryfy has no user accounts, so no account creation or account deletion is involved.

14. Data security

Because your data is kept in the app’s private device container, its security is protected primarily by the device itself — your passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and the operating system’s app sandboxing and encryption. Please keep your device secured and its software up to date. Apple’s iCloud or Finder backup services are governed by Apple’s security and privacy terms.

15. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR, India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. Because Arryfy stores app data only on your device and we hold none of it, you can view, correct and erase that information directly in the app. The current build does not provide a manual data export/import feature. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA, and we do not engage in profiling or automated decision-making.

If you have any question, contact us using the details in Section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In the EU that is the supervisory authority of the country where you live, work, or where you believe an infringement occurred (a list is published by the European Data Protection Board); in the UK it is the Information Commissioner’s Office; in India it is the Data Protection Board of India. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

16. International users

Arryfy can be used anywhere. Wherever you are, the app’s data-handling is identical: your information stays on your device and is not transferred across borders by us, because it is never transmitted to us. No international transfer mechanism is required, as no personal data is transferred.

17. Children’s privacy

Arryfy is suitable for students aged 4 and over. A child who is not legally able to accept the Terms of Use may use Arryfy only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Arryfy is not submitted to the App Store’s Kids Category.

Arryfy collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It contains no advertising, no third-party tracking, no social features, no in-app purchases, and no way for a child — or anyone — to transmit personal data to us. Because no personal information is ever collected, there is nothing for us to obtain verifiable parental consent for under the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and nothing for a parent to request access to or deletion of from us; a parent can review or erase everything directly on the device, using Settings → Erase all data. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us and we will confirm what is held — which, in practice, will be nothing.

18. Consistency with our App Store privacy label

The data practices described here match the app’s App Store privacy information, which declares Data Not Collected. If Arryfy’s features ever change in a way that affects data handling, we will update both this policy and the App Store privacy label together.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, if the app gains a new feature. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the new version here (and reflect any material change in the app). Your continued use of Arryfy after an update means you accept the revised policy.

20. Contact us
